The company provides high-value, innovative design, engineering and asset support solutions to the Oil & Gas industry and plans to expand to other market segments. Curently Amec Berca Indonesia is seeking high qualified candidates to strengthen our team and upcoming Project from multidiscipline and have opening vacancies for various positions.

 

PROJECT MANAGER


·         Have minimum 10-20 years of project management experience on onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities design engineering, fabrication, hook-up and pre-commissioning.

·         He/she shall have successfully managed a minimum of 2 major onshore/offshore EPSC projects demonstrating the following:

-       Proven track record of achieving HSE objectives

-       Capability to manage projects to meet schedule and cost requirements

-       Success in managing organization, personnel, and productivity

 

LEAD STRUCTURAL ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Structural Lead Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

·         Experienced in global and local design of jacket having skirt piles and installation design of jacket installed using two block upending

·         Experience in using SACS software

 

LEAD PIPING ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Piping Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

 

LEAD PIPELINE ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Pipeline Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

 

LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Process Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

 

LEAD ROTATING ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Rotating Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

 

LEAD INSTRUMENT ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Instrument Engineer in projects with offshore platforms

 

LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER


·         Have minimum 15 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Lead Electrical Engineer in projects with offshore platforms


 

SENIOR TECHNICAL SAFETY ENGINEER

·         Have minimum 10 years experience from offshore engineering in either engineering design, engineering work including fabrications and installations

·         Experienced in working as Senior Technical Safety Engineer in projects with offshore platforms
 

TECHNICAL PROCEDURE WRITER

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. Applicants with operating or maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry also considered.
Two (2) years of technical writing experience and/or equivalent process industry training experience
Excellent English reading and writing are essential; additional languages considered an asset
Ability to comprehend P&ID's, vendor information, and process control descriptions
A strong proficiency in MS Word is required
Must be able to travel and have a willingness to work on occasion in various field locations



Classroom Instructor (Location)


AMEC's Training & Development Services group is seeking several individuals to provide classroom instruction and assessment for operations and maintenance technicians for a project in overseas. This role has responsibility for delivering classroom instruction, developing training materials, and performing assessments. Preferred Experience:


·         Operations technician experience in the oil and gas industry

·         DCS or control room technician experience

·         Training operators on the use of a simulator

·         HSE training

·         Good understanding of oil and processes

·         Assessor experience

·         Minimum 3 years experience in instructing process technicians

·         Classroom instruction/facilitation and On-the-Job training

·         Experience in instructing in an ESL (English as a Second Language) environment

·         Basic computer skills including word processing software such as Microsoft Office Software including, Power Point and Excel

 

Job Duties

·         Provide classroom and on the job training for process and control room technicians

·         Convey complex technical content on oil and gas plant processes and equipment

·         Conduct written and performance-based assessments

·         Provide individual coaching to trainees and assist them with self-study where appropriate

·         Pilot test training materials

·         Review the effectiveness training materials

·         Enhance training materials with photos of plant equipment where appropriate

·         Provide additional input into training materials if required

·         Assist the Training Department where necessary with scheduling and coordinating training

·         Brief Operations Superintendent and Operations Supervisors on Trainee's progress

·         Ensure site-safety policies are adhered to during instruction

·         Design and coordinate training evaluation surveys

·         Schedule and assist in maintaining department classrooms, and in ensuring facilities are prepared for scheduled events

·         Perform record-keeping duties including tracking trainee's progress

·         Assist the training department where required


Qualifications:


·         Certificate or diploma in process technology, engineering technology, chemical technology, or similar

·         Degree, diploma, or certificate in adult education, instruction, or train-the-trainer certification

·         Courses related to HSE


Other:

·         Must be comfortable working with minimal supervision

·         Must be proactive and willing to help out where needed

·         Must be willing to either work on rotation or live onsite in camp
